Event Name: 2024 INAUGURAL CHINA HICKORY OPENCHAMPIONSHIP (CHOC)
Venue: Hidden Grace Golf Club, Shenzhen, China

Divisions & Rules:
· Open Division: Blue Tees
· Senior Division (Aged 60-69): White Tees
· Legends Division (Aged 70and Above): Red Tees
· Women's Division: Red Tees
All participants will be scored based ontheir gross and net scores. The champion of the Open Division will be crownedthe winner of the China Hickory Open Championship.
Club Regulations: According to the Society of Hickory Golfers (SoHG)Rules 1 through 5 on Equipment Usage (detailed on the websit), the Open Championship allows the use of antiquehickory golf clubs made before 1935 and handcrafted replicas closely resemblingthose from that era. Each participant may carry no more than 14 clubs.Violators will have their scores disqualified.
Hickory Handicap Conversion:
For fairness, participants' hickoryhandicaps will be converted based on their official modern handicaps.(Professional golfers are considered to have a zero handicap) The specificconversion rules are as follows:
· Handicap 0-3: Add 3 strokes
· Handicap 4-8: Add 4 strokes
· Handicap 9-14: Add 5 strokes
· Handicap 15-20: Add 6 strokes
· Handicap 21 and above: Add 7 strokes
Special Note:
• For the Open Men's Division, the maximum allowed modern handicap is 18, translating to a maximum addition of 6 strokes in the hickory competition, resulting in a maximum hickory handicap of 24.
• For the Women's Division, the maximum allowed modern handicap is 24, translating to a maximum addition of 7 strokes in the hickory competition, resulting in a maximum hickory handicap of 31.
