Dear Fellow Hickory Golfers:
The following are some updates about registration at the 3rd China Hickory Open:
1. According to the KSC Public Golf Course, the cost for the practice rounds on November 15, either the North or South Course, is higher due to Sunday, a weekend day. But the extra cost includes a HK$500 coupon that you can use for lunch, Proshop and coffee, etc.!
2. Registration will open at the lobby of the WM Hotel at 14:00-18:00 on November 14 and 10:00-18:00 on November 15.
3. Western style welcome dinner on the 16th will be at the WM Hotel function room. Dinner on the 17th will be at the Hung Kee Seafood Restaurant on the Sai Kung pier.
4. To give players more time to sleep and wake up sober from the seafood dinner and play the 2nd Round of the Open with vigor and strength, and at the suggestion of KSC, we have changed the tee time for the 18th at mid-day. So instead of an award luncheon, we will have an award dinner at the Clubhouse, with more drinks!
5. When using the Hotel special link (Society of Hickory Golf 15 - 19 Nov 2026) to book your rooms at group rate, the system will automatically cover the dates from November 15-19. If you plan to check in earlier, or check out later, please send an email directly to Sunny Liu, Hotel Senior Sales Manager, at sunnyliu@wmhotel.hk quoting your booking confirmation number. He will work with you to add more dates. Or you can email me about your request, which I will forward to Sunny. Please note, the rate for Saturday November 14, a weekend day, will be HK$300 more plus tax/fee. Other extra days for your extended stay will be billed at the group rate: HK$1250 plus tax/fee.
